It’s only been a week since we started offering premium add-ons to AIPRM, on top of the still huge free Community Prompt library of over 2000 Prompt Template accessible for free, to anyone who installs the AIPRM Browser Extension.
We have been getting a lot of questions about AIPRM, how to use the Internet and some more specialized questions regarding how we operate or our terms of business, so we thought we’d answer some of them here! We also collect and discuss all your ideas and feature requests on how to change our product in our Community forum.
This is a simple YES/NO Question.
Yes, it does use the WIFI in your house, if you connect to the Internet via WIFI.
No, it does not use the WIFI in your house, if you do not connect to the Internet via WIFI.
There are many other ways like cellular data or wired Internet that your computer can use to connect to the Internet. Your Web Browser sits on your computer, and AIPRM sits in your web browser as a browser extension.
So, if you connect to the Internet via WIFI, then AIPRM uses the WIFI in your house. If you do not connect to the Internet via WIFI, then AIPRM does not use the WIFI in your house.
Think of the Internet as a vast library, full of all kinds of books and information. Your web browser is like a librarian that helps you find the book you’re looking for! When you type a website’s address into your browser, it sends a request to a computer somewhere else (a server) with the information you’re looking for. The server sends that information back to your browser, and voila!
You can now see the website on your screen.
It sounds like science-fiction, but it is a widespread technology today.
A browser extension is like a little helper that works inside your web browser. It’s like having a tiny robot friend who can do extra things for you while you browse the Internet! Some extensions help you block annoying ads or translate web pages into different languages.
AIPRM is an extension that will give ChatGPT absolute superpowers. It’s like a Genie in a bottle, and once you let it out, it will do most of the work for you.
When you install an extension, it gets permission to access the Internet as your browser does. That way, it can do its job and improve your browsing experience!
There are a few different ways to connect to the Internet. One way is to use a cable that connects your computer directly to the Internet. Another way is to wirelessly use a wireless signal from a router that sends the Internet to your computer. Some people might even use a satellite or a cellular network to access the Internet! Each type of access has its pros and cons, but they all help people get online and explore the vast world of the Internet.
Hmm, that’s a tricky question!
While a browser extension can access the Internet, it can’t “hear” everything that’s going on over your wifi. Just like you can’t hear what your neighbor is saying unless they speak loudly enough for you to hear, an extension can only access the internet traffic it’s designed to interact with. So don’t worry, your browsing habits are still safe and sound!
AIPRM is not interested in any of your internet traffic or browser behavior. We’ve been offered millions to sell your user data,, but we just ignore those.
We are also not transmitting or storing the actual prompts that you send to ChatGPT.
No, a web browser can’t “hear” all internet traffic going over your wifi. Your browser can only access the websites you specifically request, and it can’t see or interact with any other traffic on your network. That’s because your router and internet service provider (ISP) help keep your internet activity private and secure. So you can browse the Internet to your heart’s content without worrying about anyone else listening in!
Be aware that using public free WIFI is most likely the biggest security risk you have, in general, if it’s unencrypted.
We hope these answers make the Internet a little bit easier to understand for you, no matter what your age is!
Here are some more about data storage.
When you type something into AIPRM, it doesn’t really “access” your keyboard like a sneaky spy.
Instead, it just listens carefully to what you’re typing so it can understand what you want it to do. Think of AIPRM like a very smart robot that understands what you say, even if you don’t speak robot language.
And when you click on a prompt template, AIPRM uses the computer screen to show you information, just like a teacher might use a blackboard or a whiteboard to show you something new. So, it’s like AIPRM is your very own computer teacher, ready to help you learn new things and answer your questions!
We hope that helps you understand a little bit more about AIPRM. Keep asking questions and learning new things!
We’re not forcing you to pay for our service. Just like you might pay for your favorite ice cream or toy, some people choose to pay for our service because they like it and find it helpful.
But if you don’t want to pay for our service, that’s okay too! We won’t make you do anything you don’t want to do.
In fact most of AIPRM is totally free, like the 2000+ Community prompts, 2 free private templates and 1 upcoming template as we’ve explained here also.
We have carefully thought about how to ensure the AIPRM Community of 790,000 people can use and publish prompts like they’re used to.
If you decide to buy a subscription from us, we’ll only charge you for as long as you want to use our service.
If you would not like to be charged again, you can cancel your account, all by yourself - no need to phone or mail or talk to anyone. We don’t like such nasty practices, too. It’s gonna be fine.
If you want to have more features and power, you can buy a better subscription from us; that’s great!
We have different levels of subscriptions to meet different needs and preferences, and we’ve also explained them in detail here.
It is like choosing between a small, medium, or large ice cream cone. You can pick the size that’s just right for you.
And if you want to buy a smaller subscription from us, that’s okay too!
Maybe you don’t need all the bells and whistles, and that’s totally fine. It’s like choosing a small toy instead of a big toy - sometimes the small one is just as fun!
We hope that helps answer your questions about our service and subscriptions.
Remember, it’s up to you to decide what you want to do.
Thanks for asking such great questions!
So, when you connect with AIPRM, you might be wondering why it needs your Google Account and asks for your birth date. Don’t worry; we may just wish you a happy birthday.
Let us explain:
We use your Google Account to give you a personalized experience with our app. We use it to know that you are you, and only you have access to your stuff.
We only ask for the minimum amount of information that we need to provide our services and identify users (which is important for legal reasons).
So, we ask for your name, email, birth date (just to make sure you’re old enough to use the app), and a URL of your profile picture (if you have one).
That way, we can show you a cool picture of yourself in the app and in the chat!
Speaking of birth dates, we use them to verify the age of our users and to make sure we’re following the law. We trust that you’re being honest with us about your birth date, and we don’t use it for any other purpose. We also don’t share it with anyone, so your personal info is safe with us!
In old computer systems, you needed to have a user name and a password for every company. An absolute nightmare that was for so many users. So we decided to use Google Accounts because they’re more accessible than traditional user name/password methods. Plus, almost everyone has a Google account these days, so it just makes things easier.
If you decide to connect your Google Account, we’ll only store very minimal info, as described below.
And don’t worry; we take your privacy and security seriously!
We do NOT have access to your Gmail, Your Google Drive or any other services like Google Sheets or Google Search Console.
We’ll store your AIPRM Account information with email, name, birthday, and avatar URL in a European data center.
Google makes sure we don’t see more than that, and you get to approve even the birthday.
The whole process is described in much more detail here.
Only staff of a trusted third-party service provider have physical access to your data.
Now, regarding the Browser Extension, we understand that you might be worried about what we’re doing with the information from your computer.
But fear not! We are committed to protecting your privacy and security. Here’s what we do:
All of the data that we collect is sent to servers located in Europe, and we keep aggregate information about it for an unspecified time in various aggregates. So, you can rest easy knowing that your information is in good hands with us!
We, at AIPRM, give users the option to share certain parts of their data (like Prompts and Comments) with the public. If you choose to do so, that data will be visible to anyone and can be used by anyone.
However, we want to make sure that you’re aware of the potential risks that come with sharing any kind of information.
You agree that if you choose to share this data with the public, it may contain personally identifiable or other sensitive information, and that you’re doing so at your own risk. So, just be mindful of what you choose to share, and know that we’re here to help protect your privacy and security!
So, we want to make sure that you fully understand what happens when you share your data with the public.
Here’s the deal:
When you share your data with the public, it means that anyone and everyone can access it. Yep, that’s right - anyone from your grandma to your neighbor’s dog can see what you’ve shared! So, just remember that once you click that “Share to Public” button, it’s out there for the world to see.
We understand that this can be a bit intimidating, which is why we’re here to remind you to be mindful of what you choose to share. And remember, we’re always working to protect your privacy and security, so don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns!
